Thanks for reading and commenting. In this era of globalisation such mergers, acqusitions, take-overs etc are always going on and it is an essential part of the business. Becoming richer is the first reason a company exists for. Oil is perhaps the most treasured resource today and your country has a lot of it so firms from all over the world coming there is quite natural.
